This setting is found at:
Configuration -> System Setup -> Customer Portal
Disable Non Attendance
This setting controls the ability for families to notify an absence through the Customer Portal.
ON / Enabled
When enabled (ticked), the "Change" button will not be visible from the Student screen next to upcoming attendances. This means the family cannot notify you of an absence through the portal.
OFF / Disabled (Not ticked - RECOMMENDED SETTING)
When disabled (not ticked), the "Change" button is visible from the Student screen next to upcoming attendances. This allows families to notify of an absence using one of your configured Non-Attendance Reasons.
