Adding a new Family

Adding a new family to your database is a quick and easy process. It is better if you have all the information at hand (Family contact name/address/email/mobile phone/student names and dates of birth). This article gives you step-by-step instructions on how to add a family. Also watch this brief video.


1. To add a new family simply click on the "Families" tab.



2. Here you can click on the green "Add a new Family" button



3. Now you are able to enter in your families details. You can put as much information or as little. We would recommend as much detail as possible so you can always contact the customer and can track marketing and locations. Also it is much easier to fill out all the details when creating the customer then to have to go back and enter in more details for everyone at a later date. 

Now you are able to click on the blue "Add Family" button.



4. The screenshot below is what your families information page will look like. Whenever you search for a family you will be directed to this page which will have a lot of information on it. For example, contact details, students, enrolments, money outstanding, medical issues and all communication from SimplySwim to the client.
