Sending Individual SMS messages from the family screen

NOTE: The SMS function can only be used if your centre has an SMS account set up with SimplySwim. If you do not have an account, please contact Support through your Help & Support Widget, and we can set that up for you to use.

To send an individual SMS from the family screen follow these steps.

1. Click "Send SMS "next to the mobile phone number. 

2. On the next screen you can select to send immediately, or schedule a date and time to send the message.

Type in the communication subject, and write your message content. 

Please note: SMS subject will not be sent to the client but will appear in the communication log for your reference.

3. Click "Send Message" in the bottom right of the screen. 

Your SMS message will now be sent to the queue for processing. (Send times are usually within 5 minutes of sending). It will show in the "Communications" log on the Family screen.

If you need to check if a message has sent, you can go to your Configuration tab, and on the right hand side towards the bottom under the "Message Logs" heading, click on "SMS Log".
