These settings are found at:

Configuration -> System Setup -> SMS

Enable Sending of SMSs

Enabled / On

When enabled / on (box ticked), you will be able* to send SMS messages through your site.

Disabled / Off

When the box is not ticked, SMSs will not be able to be sent.

SMS Account Username / SMS Account Password

*** These two fields can only be completed by Support ***

Completed field / On

This contains your unique SMS account details and will be completed by Support upon activation of your SMS account.

When these fields are populated by Support, you will be able to send SMS messages.

Blank / Off

When these fields are empty, SMS messages cannot be sent. This indicates your centre does not have an SMS account.

SMS Sender Number

*** This field must be left blank. ***

This is a legacy setting. If any value is placed in this field, SMS messages will not send.

Messages will come from a generic Australian mobile number.

We recommend including your company name at the beginning or end of your SMS message content.

SMS Country Code (Support Only)

This field will be completed if necessary by Support upon SMS Account activation. For Centres within Australia, this field will be blank.

Do not send before - Hour (eg: 07)

Completed field / On

This is the earliest time an SMS will be sent. For example a value of 07 in this field means that SMS messages will not be sent prior to 7am. If a message is sent at 5am, it will be queued and sent at 7am.

Blank / Off

SMS messages will send at the time they are sent out without any time restrictions.

Further Information

*In order to send SMS messages through your system, you must have an activated SMS account.

Without an SMS account, you will not be able to send SMS messages through your site.

SMS is a vital communication tool, providing you with the ability to send immediate communications to your customer's mobiles and smart watches. This is especially useful in those situations where you need to get out reliable mass communications or reminders quickly, or as a way to stay in touch with your customers.

There are no upfront or account costs, only pay for what you use at the end of the month. All SMS messages and their cost are contained in your SMS / Text Log on Administration.

Contact Support to activate an SMS account.
